I have long professed my profound love for Terry Gilliam’s films, both his vision as a director and a storyteller.

I have never seen this interview before, it was released when I was still in the service and well before the internet had been publicly birthed. But I found it genuinely funny to listen to it here in 2021 and through the entire thing kept exclaiming. “Wait! I say that all the time.” And if you’ve known me long enough you’re probably nodding your head.

That’s the best endorsement I can give for why, and how, he has been such an influence on me.
