Almost….there….

The defense draft of my thesis zipped its way across the ether to my advisors. 8 days and the stress if final off my shoulders. Final relief. Thursday I begin prep, presentation and all that, for my defense. It’s like being at the top of Mt. Everest and realizing it’s now downhill. Treacherous, certainly, but main compared to the lung blasting pain of the climb, I can at least take a moment to smile.

Final Countdown

Well, it’s finally arrived. After months of teeth nashing, bone crunching agony and pounding nails in my head, I will finally defend my thesis on Dec 19th at 12:30 pm.

I cannot even begin to convey how relieved I will be come 3 pm on that day. It will finally be over (well, except for small revisions and formating the final document – an afternoon’s worth of work.) Then I am fully and wholly done. Done! Finito! The End!
