Back from the long and drawn out audition process. Aside from the bad food, the hours of driving, the uncomfortable sleep and the heinous weather it wasn’t all bad. I’ve got a call back from the Cincinnati Shakespeare Festival for their residency, which would mean a nine month job. That would be sweet. And Ensemble Theatre of Cincinnati seemed interested enough that Lynn (the Artistic Director) handed me a script for the first show of their next season and told me to read it. I guess that’s promising as well.
So all in all it appears to have gone well. I’m not holding my breath, obviously, but at least I didn’t get the brush off at every theatre I went to.
Anthony, who posts over on our forums as some sort of morning breakfast food murderer, says I should go all gangsta on their asses and intimidate them. Anthony has too much free time on his hands these days.
Keep watching here for updates on the continuing saga. It’s just on-the-edge-of-your-seat drama at its best.
Oh, and just what is up with Mindcrime these days? Anyone else tried to play that ridiculous game he posted on his site? I think Mindcrime has too much time on his hands as well.
